Welcome to the FindersEdge marketplace platform, operated by FindersEdge (individually and collectively referred to as “FindersEdge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). FindersEdge takes its structural obligations under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A. 10173) with absolute seriousness.
This Policy applies universally to all end-user consumer buyers, as well as the independent designer labels, sole proprietorships, and corporate merchants onboarding as sellers on our platform (collectively referred to as “Brands,” “Users,” “you,” or “your”).
“Personal Data” refers to any information, whether true or not, from which an individual can be uniquely identified directly, or when combined with other data to which FindersEdge has or is likely to have server access (including, but not limited to, names, identity numbers, billing addresses, device parameters, and digital contact information).
By interacting with the Services, registering an active user or Brand account, or browsing the digital storefront application layout, you acknowledge that you accept the data practices outlined in this Privacy Policy and explicitly consent to our collection, processing, usage, and storage parameters. FindersEdge may also process Personal Data where necessary to perform or administer the Terms of Service, Marketplace Governance Policy, Brand Service Agreement, or other agreements governing your relationship with FindersEdge, and to comply with applicable legal obligations.
FindersEdge collects Personal Data across the following standard touchpoints:
The personal and corporate identification information FindersEdge may collect includes, but is not limited to:
To guarantee PCI-DSS compliance and financial security, FindersEdge does not store raw credit card, debit card, or secure bank credential data directly on its own corporate infrastructure.
When a transaction is initiated, FindersEdge routes necessary Personal Data packets (including Buyer name, phone number, billing address, and transaction amount) through secure encrypted protocols directly to external, secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway operators and payment settlement networks (such as Xendit, PayMongo, or alternative integrated financial service platforms). By confirming a purchase checkout, you authorize this secure transmission.
FindersEdge utilizes external cloud architecture, secure hosting, and content delivery network (CDN) sub-processors (such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloudflare, or alternative enterprise network hosts) to store data arrays securely, maintain active application security protocols, and transmit operational marketplace notifications, transactional push updates, and account emails. Where these service providers process or store Personal Data outside the Philippines, FindersEdge will implement reasonable contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards consistent with the Philippine Data Privacy Act and applicable regulations governing cross-border transfers of personal data.
Because FindersEdge operates an online marketplace model where onboarded independent Brands manage their own packaging, order assembly, and logistics, Sellers necessarily receive consumer shipping names, phone numbers, and address information to perform fulfillment. Brands are legally bound by the following containment parameters:
Users and Brands have the right to request a complete, machine-readable digital package of all personal and operational information FindersEdge maintains about them in its databases.
Request Channel: To initiate a data extraction request, the applicant must email support@findersedge.com from their registered account interface.
SLA Turnaround Window: FindersEdge will verify the applicant's identity and compile, format, and securely dispatch the compressed data package within seven (7) to ten (10) business days from formal ticket validation.
Users and Brands retain the absolute right to request the total deletion of their account identity, profiling parameters, and associated data layers. FindersEdge executes this via a controlled, two-stage protocol:
In-Flight Transaction Delays: The sole operational reason an account deletion request may be held in Phase 1 (Disabled & Labeled) rather than instantly progressing to Phase 2 (Full Anonymization) is the presence of active, unfulfilled, or in-flight marketplace orders. Full backend anonymization will resume immediately once the status of all pending transactions has been advanced to “Delivered” or “Picked Up” by the managing Brand, or canceled under the platform's Marketplace Governance Policy, protecting the financial ledger and delivery tracking until transactions officially settle.
FindersEdge retains baseline historical data, financial balance ledgers, and static transaction snapshots for the minimum window mandated under Philippine accounting laws and national internal revenue guidelines for corporate tax audits, even after full backend anonymization is executed.
To preserve database space and maintain data optimization boundaries, all high-capacity media assets, creative imagery, deactivated storefront configurations, and unboxing dispute video logs will be permanently purged from our cloud storage buckets after ninety (90) consecutive calendar days of account deactivation.
If FindersEdge becomes aware of a Personal Data breach that is subject to notification under applicable Philippine law, FindersEdge will promptly investigate the incident, take appropriate containment and remediation measures, and provide the required notifications to the National Privacy Commission and affected Data Subjects within the timeframes prescribed by applicable law, including the seventy-two (72) hour notification requirement where applicable.
For formal data access requests, technical privacy complaints, data correction adjustments, or direct escalations regarding data processing or your statutory rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you may contact our Personal Data Protection Officer via our unified communication endpoint:
